The Bangalore-based EV start-up named Mean Metal Motors is all set to launch its debut electric supercar. The stylish four-wheeler runs on an electric motor that can has a power of 986 bhp brake horsepower. The four-wheeler seems to be able to cover the distance of 550-700 km and can speed up from 0 to 100 kmph in fewer than 2 seconds.

Azani will be powered by a 120 kWh battery pack. The company is sure to flaunt features that are technologically advanced and reports state that the four-wheeler will have the capacity to estimate the 'over-the-air updates'. Mean Metal Motors has made sure to use artificial intelligence in its micro-factories so that the efficiency rate of the vehicle is increased but the cost is fairly reduced.

Azani will be released in the Indian market in the second half of 2022 as per the company's report. The official website of MMM has already started taking bookings for the much-awaited car.

The first unit or even a prototype is still a year away from now, but pictures are shared by the manufacturer. It  give us an idea of what to expect. A sharp front end with clean lines flowing towards the rear adds an extra style to the overall design. The sharp design folds have been neatly tucked into the air intake, while the headlamps and taillamps are very slim and minimalistic, leaving a large portion of surface area for body panels.

Currently, Mean Metal Motors is keeping technical details internally. Neither do we know anything about its battery capacity nor the number of motors that will power the Azani. However Mean Metal Motors claims that the Azani will put out 986bhp and it'll have a range between 550-700km in one full charge.

According to Mean Metal Motors, the Azani is capable of achieving 100km/h from a standstill in 2 seconds or less. That's almost like a Tesla Roadster.  Mean Metal Motors also claims that it has a top speed of 350km/h.

Mean Metal Motors have also confirmed that the Azani will be built in micro-facilities for less than one-fifth the cost of a traditional automobile manufacturing facility. It is looking to tap into an USD +750 Billion market with 34 million EVs expected to hit roads by 2030.
